Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) is a long way south of the city. The express train to KL Sentral is the fastest and most reliable option. Both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 have stations, so check which terminal is on your ticket.
A cheap bus to KL Sentral. Slower, but easy with luggage.
Door to door with the fare shown in the app. Easiest with family or lots of luggage.
Lines link KLCC, Bukit Bintang, Chinatown and KL Sentral. Tap in with a transit card or bank card.
Cheap with upfront fares — the traveler's default. Expect waits at rainy rush hours.
City-run buses linking the center and major stations. Free for Malaysian citizens, but foreign visitors pay about 1 MYR per ride by card. Routes and fares can change, so check official information.
An air-conditioned elevated walkway links Bukit Bintang and KLCC, making walking easy even on hot days.

The city's iconic twin skyscrapers. The Skybridge and observation deck may need timed advance booking, so check official information. Beautiful from the park after dark.
Climb the colorful stairs to a Hindu temple inside limestone caves, reachable by train. Cover knees and shoulders, and keep food away from the monkeys.

Where the Union Jack was lowered and the Malayan flag first raised at independence on 31 August 1957, surrounded by Moorish-style colonial buildings.

Crafts, architecture and calligraphy from across the Islamic world in a beautiful building. A good stop in the midday heat.
